Florence Art Gallery Name: Galleria d'Arte Moderna

Type: XVIII to early XX century principally Italian paintings and some sculptures.

Note: the collection started in the 1800's. It hosts neoclassical works, significant pieces with historical subjects of the Risorgimento, the important Macchiaioli (the Italian precursors of French Impressionism) pieces such as those by Fattori, Lega and Signorini and more modern ones, as those of the Futurists Balla and Marinetti.

Florence Art Gallery Name: Raccolta d'Arte Contemporanea Alberto Della Ragione

Type: XX century collection

Note: 1930-40 artists, such as Guttuso; and De Chirico, Morandi, Casorati, Sironi, and sculptors as Manz and Fontana.

Florence Art Gallery Name: Galleria Rinaldo Carnielo

Type: collection of different 1800 styles

Note: of sculptures, plaster works and bas-reliefs, located inside a beautiful Art Nouveau structure, the home and studio of Rinaldo Carnielo. It is under restoration at present.
