Rating: good typical Tuscan trattoria

Note:it is always a pleasure to eat genuine, simple Tuscan food at a reasonable price.

Osteria: Il Santo Bevitore
Rating: good
Specialties: good wines, typical “antipasti”, good pastas and soups, “tartare di manzo”.

Florence Trattoria: Mario
Rating: good!
Specialties: very fresh ingredients, genuine old peasant Florentine
cucina casalinga.
Address:Via Rosina 2/r, corner of Mercato Centrale.
Note: noisy place, like a good
trattoria is, full of people who eat very close to one another enjoying their meal. It
has won the Slow Food award of 2005 and 2006. Closed for dinner, Sunday and three
weeks in August.
Florence Restaurant: Il Cibreo
Rating: very good
Specialties: the “sformati”, “passati”, vegetables, perfectly, intensely and refinedly tasty.

Note: it is one of the best restaurants in Florence: a perfect match between a gastronomic
taste and perfectly simple dishes. This is the first restaurant of the creator
of the Teatro Del Sale.
Cibreo is the name of an ancient dish. This restaurant has received the Slow Food award
in 2005 and 2006. Closed August and for Christmas holidays.
