Audrey Hepburn in Rome
26 October - 4 December 2011
An Audrey Hepburn exhibition for UNICEF, unpublished photographs, videos and personal memorabilia of one of the icons of our era. This is the first exhibition devoted to Audrey Hepburn and marks the 50th anniversary
of Breakfast at Tiffany's and Rome's International Film Festival. This tribute
to the great star in "her" Rome will help to collect funds to fight infantile
malnutrition, promoted by the Club Amici di Audrey for UNICEF, an organization
to which Audrey devoted a very important part of her life as a UNICEF Ambassador.
Few people know that Audrey Hepburn lived in Rome for more than 20 years, in
the 60s, 70s and 80s when she was married, first to Mel Ferrer, and then to Andrea
Dotti, and during which time she had two children, Sean Ferrer and Luca Dotti.
The sponsors of the exhibition are: AUDREY HEPBURN CHILDREN'S FUN, (CREDO FUND) ZETEMAU, VODAFONE, LA REPUBBLICA, MONDADORI, IL GIOCO DEL LOTTO Part of the entrance ticket will be entirely donated to UNICEF
