An Audrey Hepburn exhibition for UNICEF, unpublished photographs, videos and personal memorabilia of one of the icons of our era.

This is the first exhibition devoted to Audrey Hepburn and marks the 50th anniversary of Breakfast at Tiffany's and Rome's International Film Festival. This tribute to the great star in "her" Rome will help to collect funds to fight infantile malnutrition, promoted by the Club Amici di Audrey for UNICEF, an organization to which Audrey devoted a very important part of her life as a UNICEF Ambassador.

Few people know that Audrey Hepburn lived in Rome for more than 20 years, in the 60s, 70s and 80s when she was married, first to Mel Ferrer, and then to Andrea Dotti, and during which time she had two children, Sean Ferrer and Luca Dotti.
The exhibition which is devoted to Audrey's Roman years consists of 200 photos, not the posed photos taken by great photographers, but simple shots, many of which are on view for the first time, that show Audrey walking around the city, with her family and with her children, arriving at or leaving from airports, beset by paparazzi, and at premieres of her films.
The photographic storyline illustrates Audrey's slow transformation from an inaccessible Hollywood diva to a successful actress in Italy, to a woman and mother who, having stepped out of the limelight in the 70s, settles into Rome, and forms strong bonds with her adopted city
There are also photos of scenes from the films she made during those years (Roman Holiday, War and Peace, The Nun's Story, Breakfast at Tiffany's) and of her mythical clothes and accessories which contributed to creating her unique style.
