FLORENCE FASHION, SHOPPING IN THE BEST SHOPS AND LIVE THE FASHION WEEK AS A PROTAGONIST

Discover Florence, the Fashion week and the contemporary ateliers, live your refined shopping tours, fashion nights and prestigious clubs. Start your experience as a fashionista and fashion victim by booking an eclectic suite, our Fireplace Room, where the furniture recalls in each detail the luxury of past neoclassic and elegant eras.
Once you have booked the room, are you ready to visit the Italian fashion district?

Welcome to Florence, fashion’s international Capital, a “valley” stretching through the historic center, dotted with boutiques and stores of famous brands and stylists. Begin your day with a walk through the streets of the Renaissance homeland and visit these three museums:
Gucci Museum (Piazza della Signoria, 10, 055 759233027, always open), a true symbol of the evolution of fashion through the last decades, it’s very well organized, you will love this extraordinary exhibition of masterpieces and intuitions.
Ferragamo Museum (Via dei Tornabuoni 2, 055 336 0456, always open), hosted inside a historic building, an immersive insight concerning not only the world of footwear and its evolutions, but able to represent Italy itself across time.
Museo della Moda e del Costume (previously called Costume Gallery Pitti Palace, Piazza de ‘Pitti, 1R, 055 238 8713, closed on Monday), housed in Palazzo Pitti, overlooking the Boboli Gardens, it houses more than 6000 pieces from XVIII century to today. A travel in time among clothes and accessories.

Ready for your shopping in Florence tour? Looking for your new trendy dresses? We recommend a vibrating space in Florence, Atelier C (Via dei Fossi, 33R, 055 289787, closed Sunday), elegant tailor’s shop enhancing the manual work in its peak.
Another not to be missed place is Nadine Boutique (Lungarno degli Acciaiuoli, 22 / red, 055 287851, open every day), two rooms mixing the passion for vintage with the one for the handmade products.
Atelier Emè (via Borgo degli Albizi, 77R, 055-2344839, closed on Sundays) is the ideal location if you want to dream (and purchase?) your wedding dress.

A coffee break is a must: the Giubbe Rosse (Piazza della Repubblica 13 / 14r, 055 212280, open every day), the Futurists’ meeting place where many worldwide renowned genius have sat, from Montale to Pratolini. Enjoy a cup and get ready for the new stages of this tour.

What about a short walk in Santa Croce? Here you will find the School of Leather (Scuola del Cuoio, Via S. Giuseppe, 5R, 055 244533), a charming artisans’ laboratory, where everything you see is one of a kind (obviously with a higher economic value). Buy here your new bags, bracelets and belts!

For dinner we suggest the Trattoria Diladdarno (Via dei Serragli, 108r, 055 224917, closed on Mondays), small, rustic and cozy, with a tasty selection of cold cuts, cheeses, wines and pasta dishes (try the pici with black cabbage!), simply an evergreen.

End your perfect weekend in a fashion venue, such as the Florence Jazz Club (Via Nuova de ‘Caccini, 3, 055 527 1815, closed on Mondays). It’s necessary to join the club making ta card, which guarantees the right to the first free drink. Listen excellent acoustics, jazz and swing band, you will fall in love with this place.
Other ideas to end a flawless evening: Da Florence (Via Del Parione 16, 055285635, always open) trendy cosmopolitan club, or Sabor Cubano (Via Sant’Antonino 64R, 3317731536, closed Sunday and Monday), where everything is made in pure Cuban style.
